Summary/Abstract: The article discusses two pieces directed in the autumn of 2014 by Romeo Castellucci: the opera neither and the performance Go down, Moses. The author starts by describing Castellucci's mode of work and revealing the difficulties accompanying the creation of neither. Apart from detailed descriptions of the two productions and his interpretation, Kędzierski includes quotations and information taken from his interview with the director. Thus, two discourses meet in the article – that of the artist and that of the viewer.
