Summary/Abstract: The present paper would like to present the process and finalities of developing and implementing a curriculum used nationally for children with deafblindness/ multisensory impairment, which was achieved in Romania in 2008. This was a difficult task, but it had to be considered in order to provide an essential tool for the educational and intervention process of the children in an organized setting. The curriculum is not only a policy statement about a category of disability that is referred to in the process of education, but especially an indication as to the ways in which that policy is to be realized through a program of action.
