Summary/Abstract: The article presents Polish-Japanese intelligence and consular cooperation for saving the lives of Jews in Kaunas during the WW2, with particular emphasis on the diplomatic mission of Chiune Sugihara. Who was a Japanese Righteous Among the Nations. The presented article includes three functions of scientific research: discriptive, explanational and systematizing. The author describes and explains the phenomenon of threat to the Jewish community under two occupations, presents atttempts to save lives and involve in the process of saving specifics individuals, communities, institutions and organizations.
