Spitirual Vitality in the Life Circle (Towards the Trilogy of Animated Films Round Trip)

Summary/Abstract: One national culture can not survive if there is no vitality in harmony with the spirit of the new age, whose refined outburst is the work of art. But for this purpose, a cultural ambient, stimulating and inspiring for the work of art-ists is necessary. That ambient in Macedonia is being built now, through a lot of trouble and through a new awak-ening. The trilogy of animated films The circular movement carries elements of the reactions of our civil culture with fine spillovers of the urban and rural environment: the first cinema of the Manaki Brothers, the eclectic architec-tural buildings in Bitola, man, nature and tradition and the sacred places nestled in the most beautiful corners of the lake (the church in the rocks of Lake Ohrid), as well as the reevaluation of the female principle (Mare, the three fairies, the Divine Mother). There is a need for renewal of the spiritual and civic values in our community, reexamined and stylized according to contemporary needs.
