Summary/Abstract: In the paper, attention is drawn to the early period of life of individuals with visual impairment. Intervention in this period affects the overall quality of life of these individuals and their social surroundings. The paper focuses on the qualitative indicators of care for individuals with visual impairment and their families, with special emphasis on early intervention and care services. Through interviews and case studies, the need for early intervention will be illustrated as well as its contribution to the future life of persons with visual impairment and their families.
