Summary/Abstract: Exhortation Amoris laetitia gives strong impuls to integrate into Church life the faithful who are in irregular situations. It is to make through a process of accompaniment and discernment which, after taking account of the complexity and the diversity of situations, mitigating circumstances and other factors, will identify the specifc opportunities for their widen integration. They might hold different ecclesial services and be involved in many forms of activity in the liturgical, pastoral, educational, institutional and charitable framework. An example of implementation of Francis’ teaching in this matter is a document entitled Pastoral guidelines for implementing Amoris laetitia issued by the Archdiocese in Philadelphia. It combines in practical solutions the indications of Amoris laetitia with the earlier teachings of the Church especially that expressed in Familiaris consortio. Regulations of Pastoral guidelines promote on the one hand the more full participation of the faithful in irregular situations in the life and mission of the Church, and on the other hand indicate activities they shouldn’t carry out. It is justifed by the need to follow not only love and mercy, but also the truth of indissolubility of marriage.
