Summary/Abstract: Our article is intending to show Camil Petrescu’s appetite, opening for all the dramatic genre species, as well as the profoundness of his analyses, his eye of a great observer and his writing’s calofilism, in contrast with the reluctance of the literature theoretician on the „beautiful writing”. Thus, a kid of „involuntary expressivity” (Eugen Negrici), which customizes the text of the theatre commenter. We also emphasized the professionalism of this polyvalent journalist, who also practiced the cinema chronicle, the sports chronicle etc.
