The 8th Days of Special and Academic Libraries (Opatija, 2006) : [report]

Summary/Abstract: At the end of April, in Opatija was held a traditional professional gathering of librarians from special and academic libraries. The title of the meeting was: New Strategies in Special and Higher Education Libraries : Advocacy and fundraising. The program included domestic and foreign invited lectures, presentation of posters, two workshops and presentation of sponsors. The Library of the Adriatic Institute was represented by a poster about financing policy in 15 years of work. After the meeting, it is planned to issue a special publication with all the contributions from the conference. After the conference was organized a professional excursion.
