Summary/Abstract: This paper casts a light on some aspects of the complex process of social maturing among teenage girls in Belgrade. In order to do so, paper traces the girls’ attitudes toward school, boys, appearance, popularity as well as their future expectations. The paper discusses the ways in which girls today’s adapt to the role of adult young women.
