Summary/Abstract: The paper “Russian soul – characteristics and perception” attempts to sum up few peculiarities of Russia and Russian soul. Situated at the crossroads of cultures and influences, Russia has been always divided between West and East and its historical self-perception as a frontier between Europe and Asia has acquired a real, not just symbolic significance: she is called to play a great role in the leading of mankind towards unity.
