Summary/Abstract: As a part of the preparations for the Euro 2012, Poland is obliged to plan and carry out various undertakings which are necessary for the organisation and the proper course of the final tournament. In order to meet the obligations arising from the guarantees presented to the UEFA, the Government of the Republic of Poland appointed in February 2008 Organisational Committee for European Championships EURO 2012, and in May 2010 – Committee for Security of European Championships EURO 2012, which accepted the UEFA Integrated Safety and Security Concept EURO 2012. It is a document describing the concept, the plans, the mechanisms of consultation and control, and the structure of making important decisions. The author discusses in detail fifteen thematic areas constituting the UEFA Euro 2012 Security Programme based on the Act from 30 March 2009 on the security of mass events, changing the Act from 1997 and its executive orders
