Summary/Abstract: The present article discusses the main issues concerning the necropolis from Șimand–Imaș/Nimaș. According to the archaeological material, it belongs to a later period than the one defined by Egon Dörner and Mihai Blăjan, namely to the end of the 4th – beginning of the 5th century. Another aim of the study is to clarify the problems related to the site and the connections of its material in the context of the Hun Period.
