Summary/Abstract: The Heterarchical constitutional system of the European Union requires the application of constitutional dialogue and constitutional tolerance in interactions with the national constitutional systems of the Member States. It ensures “survival” of the system, but it reduces the predictability of the interpretation of legal norms, ie legal certainty.
