Summary/Abstract: The aim of the present paper is to examine the text of a Chalkokondyles’ fragment preserved in Codex Vaticanus Graecus 1890, and to propose minor critical notes on these passages. The authoritative printed edition reveals a number of further divergences from the text of the Vatican fragment; unfortunately, the manuscript tradition does not confirm Darkó’s choices in the majority of all cases.
