Summary/Abstract: The convention of this article is set in the concept of life-long learning. The phenomenographic approach has been adopted as the foundation for the analysis of learning determinants and educational areas, the approach which was constructed for the purposes of conducting research on learning processes. The objective of this thesis is to learn about the phenomenon of learning by adults in their middle adulthood, especially about the ways of them undertaking educational activity.
