Summary/Abstract: An article focuses on the use of new media for the educational anddidactic purposes. The theoretical part determines the place of new media in thepostmodern educational context. In the empirical part, the possible goals of usingthe tool in education are shown on the example of the Fanpage of Foreign LanguageDepartment. The possible entries posted on Facebook are also presented.
