Summary/Abstract: The author in the presented article focuses on the causes and consequences of the current financial crisis in the world, known as the “crisis 2008 +”. Particular emphasis was placed on comparing the arguments of critics and supporters of the neo-liberal development direction of modern financial markets. Approximately is both practical and theoretical dimension of the problem, with generally outlined proposals for ending the crisis included.
