Summary/Abstract: The text investigates one of the city symbols of the town of Russe — the glass kiosk, which existed as a bus stop between 1930s and 1970s, and is still used as a spatial reference point by many of the town citizens. The article explores the history of this symbol, its role as an identityshaping site, and the mythological connotations that it evokes among the citizens, who have been witnesses to its existence.
