Summary/Abstract: Border studies, as well as space studies, have regained relevance on the global academic-scientific scene and are valid for one of the most interesting research area today. This paper will analyze those dimensions of understanding the boundaries, which do not perceive borders as static lines and state power regimes, but will focus on the dispersion, proliferation and representativeness of border modalities, functions and consequences within different contexts and through differently manifested/coded social, cultural and political activities, that is, border practices. In other words, the work will deal with the discursive implications of the inversion of the concept of borders with the concept of b/ordering process.
