Summary/Abstract: The notion of a communication community can be more precisely defined as the notion o f a society for which the primary form o f sociability appears to lie mutual exchange o f messages and the determining type o f interaction is the communicational one. A communication community can he understood through three fundamental aspects: l. A system o f signs which is the elementary expression of the existence o f communication. 2. The social aspect, as spatial and temporal socialization through language as well as socialization o f language. It takes place as a realization o f new and a confirmation of old communication interactions and competences. 3. The practical aspect of the notion of a communicational community is represented in the theory o f science and the practical philosophy of Karl-Otto ApeI and Jurgen Habermas. Primarily it presents itself transcendentally by its comprising the practical preconditions of both sign and society. The explained aspects o f the notion o f a communication communion are mutually contradictory. The reasons for this arc that they are not coordinated and also that there is an internal contradiction within each of them.
