Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the participation and changes in the number of inhabitants of Northern-Dalmatian towns according to nationality. The issue is analyzed within the framework of Dalmatia (South Croatia) and the general process of growth of urban population regarding its main ethnic components in Northern Dalmatia (Benkovac, Biograd, Drniš, Knin, Obrovac, Šibenik and Zadar).
