Faszyści wracają do miasta?
Are fascists back in town?

Summary/Abstract: The author discusses the issue of nationalistic urban art (e.g. murals, graffiti art), which has emerged in Poland recently. The starting point comprises the consequences of the post-1989 transformation, including the neo-liberal economic reforms, elimination of class discourse from public space, creating a narrative that balances Nazism and communism, gradual adjustment of the identity policy and building a strong historical narrative, subject to, all in all, extremely right-wing vision of the past. The text presents how these elements led to, or allowed, the fascist turn of the Polish society, which resulted in the takeover of the visual urban space by the extreme Right.
