Summary/Abstract: This paper describes the Europeanization of the Romanian security policy discourse that occurred since the country joined the European Union. It explains using a constructivist framework how the standards of the European foreign and security cooperation are transferred to the Romanian security policy discourse. This work tries to point out that the Romanian security policy, after the end of the cold war and the Romanian membership in the EU, is increasingly beginning to correlate with the European security policy discourse. The paper also highlights how both the Romanian, and the European security discourse has changed over time.
