Summary/Abstract: This Paper reveals the role of Romania in sustaining and promoting the projects developed under the aegis of the Regional Stability within the Greater Black Sea Area Working Group (RSGBSA WG). Following the PfPC Senior Advisory Council’s decision to temporary deactivate RSGBSA WG, a series of proactive measures are to be implemented as to relaunch relevant research oriented activities aimed at consolidating the cooperative security in the region. Romania plays a leading role in this process and therefore needs to thoroughly assess the best options ahead to revitalize the Group in the near future.
