Summary/Abstract: The following article tries to examine the economic relation between Armenia and Georgia, and their bilateral relation with the European Union (EU), in the context of the Eastern Partnership (EaP). The present studies indicates the fact that while a future access of those states into the DCFTA (Deep Comprehensive Free Trade Area) might improve their economic ties with the EU and bring several macroeconomic advantages, the bilateral economic relation between Armenia and Georgia would not improve, due to the fact this also depends on the geopolitical situation from the region. On the other hand, the EU’s support for the border management system and for the development of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) might bring a certain qualitative change in the relation between those two countries.
