Summary/Abstract: Military capabilities are more and more influenced by the perspective of the future global challenges and multilateral efforts are a good start for building such modern capabilities. Allocated resources are extremely important, the way they are spent and invested making the crucial difference in between now and future military cooperation. Each country’s ability to support and participate to the collective effort for defending freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law as fundamental principles agreed as a NATO Ally, leads to more value for money invested in defence.
