Summary/Abstract: As being vital, the present paper attempts to explore and give answer to the most substantial questions related to a complex construct of attitudes. By tracing their origins, we try to explain what they are, and what their function is. What are they made of? Are they emotional or cognitive constructs? Are they stable or they can be changed? The study focusses on the process of persuasion as one of mechanisms responsible for attitude change.
