Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article was to indicate the role of organizational culture in the government administration institution, on the example of the Voivodship Military Staff, responsible for military – defense matters at the voivodship level. The profile of the organizational culture was diagnosed and the possible directions of its changes to the desired state, thereby to increasing the efficiency, were indicated.
