Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the executive cognitive skills of prospective Turkish teachers in terms of various variables. In order to determine the cognitive skills of prospective Turkish teachers, “Executive Cognitive Skill Scale” and “Personal Information Form”, developed by Altındağ (2008) and consisting of 30 items, were used. The study group consisted of 257 prospective Turkish teachers studying at 5 different state universities. Relational screening model was used in the study. The data were collected in the fall semester of 2018-2019 academic year and analyzed through a statistical program. As a result of the analyses, it was found that the executive cognitive skills of prospective Turkish teachers were “at high level”. In addition, there was no significant difference in the executive cognitive skills of the prospective Turkish teachers in the grade level and the high school graduated from while there was significant difference in the gender variable.
