IMPORTANCE and ACTUALITY RESEARCH OF THE CUSTOMS and TRADITIONS OF THE PROVINCE OF ZANJAN AND HAMADAN

Summary/Abstract: Studying the traditions of Zanjan and Hamadan, which is an important part of Azerbaijan's material culture, is one of the topical issues. In the archaeological and ethnographic studies of this area, similarities between Northern Azerbaijan and Southern Azerbaijan have been discovered. Although these lands were separated from each other by the Turkmenchay Treaty of 1828, they consisted of the same people in terms of their history, culture, language and cultural heritage. Fraudulent ways of giving South Azerbaijan's material culture as part of the Persian culture is the heaviest blow to cultural heritage of the Turkic nation.
