Summary/Abstract: This research is the first study, which investigate the relation between Bitcoin investment and marital status. It is thought that these findings could be valuable in order to understand Bitcoin investment deeply. In order to measure the relations, data about marital status, number of marriages, other sociodemographic factors and the usage of bitcoin of participants are obtained. It is investigated that to be married and an increase in the number of marriages are determinant factors for Bitcoin investment and increasing the probabilities of making investment to Bitcoin. These results could be interpreted in favor of anonymity of Bitcoin. As a popular asset, the more is found about which factors affecting Bitcoin investment, the more it is understood the cause affect relations and the easier to make predictions for future financial markets.
