Summary/Abstract: In Uzbek Turkish, the idioms which have been fulfilled with the unity expressions “ibara” or “frazelogik” are one of the prosperousness of the vocabulary. The idioms which make expression more fluent and interesting cause important problems in alienism and translations because of both containing cultural elements of the language or the dialect used and referring to metaphors frequently. When examining the Turkish dialects generally, it is observed that there are a lot of idioms. There are many idioms which were formed with the “eye” which is one of the most important organs. One of the most important reasons of the circumstance is that the eye is the most important organ that connects us to the outer world. In this study, Turkey Turkish equivalency of the idioms which were formed with the word “eye” in Uzbek Turkish is going to be detected; the common, similar or divergent aspects of the idioms in terms of meaning are going to be presented.
