Summary/Abstract: The development of the school of International Relations established in post-Communist Russia, reflecting the new status of the Russian state on the world arena during Communism, has been hindered by ideological censorship. The author considers that the West and Russia as international players live in two different worlds: the West exists in a post-Westphalian order, while Russia belongs to the Westphalian, classical order.
