Summary/Abstract: In this paper we strive to examine the relationship between identity, regional identity and upbringing manners. Given the particularity of the Sandzak region which has its own characteristics as well as other regions in Serbia. With this paper we want to present a region that significantly affects the evaluation of identity peculiarities with its culture, tradition, religious and national structure, in more or less visible aspects of family life, education and upbringing.
