Summary/Abstract: Four issues underlying a society based on the plurality of self-management interests merit special consideration: accountability, which is mainly treated as an excess, as a state of crisis rather than a permanent category of the system, implying also the need for realisation; the rationalisation of the political system, including greater stability and efficiency in accomplishing the proclaimed goals; the mobilizing capacity of the system, a lack of which is evident in tendencies of apathy, and which can be made up for by a type of populist action of the Socialist Alliance; the plurality of interests, especially the aspect of agreements and compacts us a way to alleviate the conflicts of interests between various subjects.
