Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the use of procedures related to the task-based learning approach in lesson observation in pre-service teacher training. Although the idea of using tasks in observation is not new, the whole cycle of task-based learning typically used for developing students’ speaking skills has not so far been used in lesson observation.
