Summary/Abstract: Applying Nida’s concept of dynamic equivalence in translation, the paper aims at analyzing the difficulties encountered by students in translating the English translated version of an Irish fairy tale into Bulgarian viewed from the concept of naturalness. The paper provides analysis of inconsistencies which can lead to ambiguity and awkward translation versions in Bulgarian, as well as offers possible translation choices and gives some practical advice on how to translate problematic areas.
