Factors and barriers of development in the polish-german borderland in the opinion of local self-governments

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the results of a survey conducted in 2011 among Polish and German local government units from the borderland. The study enabled to determine the specific conditions of local development in the borderland, as well as to identify similarities and differences in the assessment of particular factors and barriers of development in the opinion of the German and Polish self-governments.
