Summary/Abstract: An interdisciplinary approach to the analysis of food on the islands of the Zadar archipelago — Silba and Olib — consisted of the coordinated work of a cultural anthropologist (ethnologist) who focused on socio-cultural values of local food consumption, and a nutritionist with biological-anthropological training. The goal of the joint research was to help determine, as completely as possible, the biological status of these island populations.
