Summary/Abstract: The paper signed by Paul Ionescu consists in an analysis of the main global trends that appeared after the end of the Cold War. The world has already entered a new historical era, one that is still in a “gestation period”, and the general picture still hasn’t taken shape. Structured in two chapters, the papers analyses the relations between global actors (be them state or nonstate) and the way their interests shape the new global policies.
