Summary/Abstract: The concept of researching linguistic material of literary texts while in the research process maintaining the constant relation within the triad of ‘writer – linguistic material – text’ and the one of ‘writer – text – researcher’. The dominant element is perceiving the writer not only as the author and creator of the text, the sender of the message, and the creator of an original literary workshop, but also as a human being existing at a specific time and place/places, a personality with a specific identity, with specific features and characteristics such as a certain level of knowledge, experience, preferences, views and emotions. The writer is the creator of the text and the researcher should respect his or her copyrights, but – at the same time – should present everything the writer has included in his or her text in the best possible way.
