On the UN Reforms

Summary/Abstract: This study stresses the need for the United Nations of a more active role at international level and institutional reform in order to respond to the demand of a new and more balanced political and economic order. The reform should rely on multilateralism and take into account a stronger voice of the Asian and African countries in the UN Security Council. However, China has disapproved Japan’s request for permanent membership in the UNSC.
