Summary/Abstract: It seems that the delegation system and the self-management system in general require that more and more people work together. Three fundamental varieties of such work can be posited: the aggregate, the chain and the collective. In the aggregate variety the individuals act in relative independence as e. g. during the act of voting. In the chain variety they react to each other's contributions but in a sequential way As an example one could take a journalist who publishes some article to which the readers respond In the end. it there is an ensuing public action, it is a result of the -working together« on a higher level than in the case of aggregate action. Finally, in the case of collective action, the results are brought about by simultaneous acting together, as at meetings One of the outstanding features there Is open and intensive communication by which common opinions evolve.
