Challenges of Information Age Ergonomic Aspect of Shaping and Management of a Remote Work System

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this work is the ergonomic aspect of shaping and managing remote work systems. Based on the available source and literature data, the study attempts to solve the aspects of shaping and managing remote work systems in an ergonomic sense. After a brief introduction and discussion of the „information age” in the first part of the article, the authors characterize the term „remote work”. Then, ranges and legal requirements are defined related to the shaping and management of remote work systems. In the third part of the article, the authors raise the issue of the ergonomic aspect of shaping the work environment along with the legal and normative requirements in force in the Polish state and the European Union. The whole is closed by a short summary in which the authors’ reflection was included.
