Common Agricultural Policy of European Union Instruments and Enhancing Occupational Skills of Persons Working in Agriculture

Summary/Abstract: Paper aims at characterising and analysing the effects of support of the competences of people working in agriculture implemented under the EU CAP in Poland in 2007–2015. In particular, the premises, functioning and results of various interventions of the rural development policy were described. The conducted research indicated that activities concerning the knowledge and skills covered about 231 thousand. persons employed in the agricultural sector. The presented results were based on the analysis of data and information published by public institutions implementing the CAP instruments in Poland.
