Summary/Abstract: In the past decade there have emerged new social challenges and problems that we would have expected a politically-sensitive theatre to respond critically to: the minority getting dizzyingly rich and the majority of the population slipping into poverty, the reign of money as the absolute social interest and driving force, corruption in all spheres of life, the erosion of critical awareness, rebellious spirit and feeling of common interest, and an overwhelming expansion of show business into the public sphere with public communication becoming completely nonsensical...
