Summary/Abstract: Values pursued by employees and the possibility to implement them in their workplace enhance their commitment and, consequently, their efficiency. This particularly concerns young people who are about to enter or have just entered the labour market, for they are more susceptible to corporate motivation and attitude shaping. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyse the values shared by university students in comparison to the population of Poles in general. The paper will present results of research from the literature, conducted mainly in Poland and Germany and by author himself.
