Summary/Abstract: „The purpose of this study is to address the nature of school diversity in teacher education for teaching in multicultural classes. Diversity in cultures has become a prominent feature of the 21st century. The influence of this feature can be seen in the classroom environment where the teacher is a multicultural student. It I s therefore necessary to prepare potential teachers for a diverse / multicultural classroom teaching. This paper investigates the current initial teacher education curriculum (B. Ed) of teaching staff for teaching in the multicultural classroom. It is a documentary analysis of the B. Ed curriculum. The results showed that B. Ed’s current pre-service training curriculum as such does not have multicultural classroom elements. A proposed course is designed to meet this gap in the B teacher training curriculum. Ed. Dat is the fact that more ethnic groups and more cultures live in Romania. In conclusion, the findings of the present study are useful for educators, teachers, curriculum developers and policy makers.”
