Summary/Abstract: This study surprises the actual tendencies of the executive in the european states from the point of view of the persons that have the highest functions in a state, the Prime-minister and the Head of State. In the last five years it has been observed that the citizens take more and more interest in choosing younger persons in these public functions with ages above 30. Thus, ten different european states were chosen alphabetically, all of them republics, with different political regimes and it has been analyzed what the Constitutions of those states have to say regarding the age of the persons that run for those functions but also some other things that will be found in the study.
