Summary/Abstract: Drawing from the analogous “herstory”, the article uses the term ‘herbstory” to read Simona Kossak’s book of herbs Opowiadania o ziołach i zwierzętach. Zgodnie z naturą swojego gatunku. The nature narratives are analyzed as examples of “rescue history” and environmental writing.
